Noodle Jars - Tomato and Basil

You can mix it up and add whatever it is that you fancy! These were taken to Southsea Food Festival in the summer of 2016 where I made them for many others who seemed to love the alternative healthy meal.

Such a great lunch idea to take into work with you. Simple, healthy and full of flavour.

Ingredients

Rice Noodles
Tomato Paste
Garlic Paste
Ginger Paste
Fresh Basil
Vegetable Stock Powder/Granules
Bean Sprouts
Spinach
Mushrooms - sliced
Courgette - Cubed or grated
Carrots - Grated
Spring Onions - Finely chopped
Salt
Pepper
Add shredded chicken or ham if you fancy an added extra

Directions

  1. Add desired amount of ingredients into Kiln Jar - Adapt quantities depending on what flavours you like and size of jar. TIP: Lots of basil! Yum....
  2. Add boiling water - Close lid and leave for 2 mins - Stir
  3. It's ready!
  4. You can add flavours of your choice - Just be sure to pick vegetables that will 'cook' in boiling water.
